Chapter 1 Heart Breaking News
“Mum don’t go away!”The sight of my mum faded away, I tried to hold her back, but she ignored me. Tears stung my eyes when I woke up drenched from sweat. My name is Taey Jared, my mum passed away a week ago. She died in a car accident. I hate mum. I hate her for leaving me alone with my dad and sis. Why are you so cruel? I always wanted to ask her. Everyday in the night, I will dream of her pale but beautiful face, her long smooth blonde hair, half the time covering her ocean blue eyes.”Breakfast Ready! Come down sis!” my sister, Linda shouted. Linda wears thick makeup; she looked nice without it but she said that it make her looked fabulous, seriously I think it should be horrible. In fact it look like grease on her face, she doesn’t want to admit it. She doesn’t take after mum, that what people says; sometimes I think that she doesn’t care about what happened to mum.
I walked downstairs thoughts and feelings surrounding me, a tear dropped as I hastily turned my head away to avoid letting Dad see but it was too late.”Why are you crying?”Dad questioned. ”Nothing!”I tried to sound casual. That voice did not deceive him, but to my utmost relief he did not asked further. We settled down in the dining room and ate in silence. Suddenly, dad spoke in a seriously “Err…Since I am taking two jobs at a time, it is not safe for both of you to stay at home, so I am considering of remarrying…”
“No!” I cried out.
“But Taey…”Dad tried to calm me down.
“I said no! Dad you don’t care about mum!” I shouted at him.
“Its not it…” I cut him off before he could say anything.
“Shut up!” I screamed at him, trying hard to stop the tears that sprang down my cheeks.
“Taey!” dad said sternly.
I stomped up stairs before other words of hatred spilled from my lips. Tears streaming down my face, they don’t understand me, and they don’t care what happened to me. I slammed my bedroom door shut, fuming. Angrily, I pulled out my drawer and took out a box, a seashore bracelet, I took it out and handed it with care. It was a gift from my late mother; it was given to me when I was just merely a five year old kid. “Keep it well, Taey it is very precious to me now I will give it to you.”Mum’s voice rang through my head. It gives me a sign of encouragement and also a form of encouragement. “Taey?” I hurriedly shoved the bracelet back into the drawer.
“Yes?” I asked.
Dad poked his head in and hushed me “Changed quickly for school!”he sounded cheerful enough but there was an unmistakable sadness in his eyes, I wasn’t sure that he fake that cheerfulness or not.”Dad … I’m sorry I yelled you.” I sounded so small, I waited silently for a reply and I hate this silence a lot, finally Dad spoke “It’s okay , it’s not that do not care for your mum, she’s my wife too, everybody is grieving about her death. Take Linda for instance, she tries to put on a I –don’t- care –look. But the truth is she is depressed too, she doesn’t want people know that she’s weak. One look at her I know both you and Linda miss your mum very much, but a dead person cannot be revived so get over this sadness err…about remarrying…” I jolted up from my seat and stare at him and dare him to say “I will remarry no matter what” But he said “I’ll talk about it other time.”I heaved a sigh of relieved, I will stop the marriage from happening, you just watch me dad, and I thought myself. # to be continued..

went to northpoint 2day.. then went to the wat ADOPT-A-PET-CARNIVAL.. at Nee Soon East CC.. lots of dogs thr.. big big one.. got one sute little white terrier licked mi leg.. LOL.. i bought 2 posters from SPCA.. one for $1 onli sia.. cheap like siao.. but the T-shirt one for $16.. too bad.. i no more money le.. i want buy the carnival ticket.. but sold out le.. T_T.. den i saw the hammie tat i wanted to adopt tat day at SPCA.. but then i adopted the other one.. the rabbit i so cute.. so fluffy.. i wan adopt!!.. not possible de.. cos i got asthma.. too bad lorhhs.. wished thr is some more carnival like this todae.. cos i din get to buy many things cos of time contrain..

went to northpoint 2day.. then went to the wat ADOPT-A-PET-CARNIVAL.. at Nee Soon East CC.. lots of dogs thr.. big big one.. got one sute little white terrier licked mi leg.. LOL.. i bought 2 posters from SPCA.. one for $1 onli sia.. cheap like siao.. but the T-shirt one for $16.. too bad.. i no more money le.. i want buy the carnival ticket.. but sold out le.. T_T.. den i saw the hammie tat i wanted to adopt tat day at SPCA.. but then i adopted the other one.. the rabbit i so cute.. so fluffy.. i wan adopt!!.. not possible de.. cos i got asthma.. too bad lorhhs.. wished thr is some more carnival like this todae.. cos i din get to buy many things cos of time contrain..
